HISTORY: Appearing in one episode that reintroduce a [more or less] retconned Dora, her older brother is Prince Aragon, ruler of a stuck-in-the-Dark Ages Kingdom. Trees die, people merry make with as much enthusiasm as a drunken Santa on a hot July morning, and the tyrant himself rules with a [violent] iron fist. This has gone on for 1600+ brutal years and Dora's usually the one feeling much of the brunt end of said fist.
Being the selfish brat that he is, Aragon asks for the impossible and demands a human bride. Ignoring possible complications that would arise, Dora is sent to fetch the perfect one. She disguises the potential candidates with a faux-beauty pageant with an unknowing Danny as judge. Sam is accidentally picked as the lucky chick and immediately sent to Aragon’s bony fingers, bound with a magical tiara that prevents her escape.
Clever Sam managed to find a way to escape by acting as callous and gross as possible, not the type of girl Aragon would marry. It worked until Danny and Tucker stepped in, making the situation worse when Aragon goes dragon on everyone, angry Sam is being taken away from him (rebellious girl or not, no one steals his bride, damn it!). He torches the surrounding area of his castle until Danny and eventually Dora (after a pep talk from Sam) smacks him a new one. Removing the pendent that dragon-fied him, Aragon is demoted from his rank, leaving his now strengthen sister to take over, bringing about a new age.
I think he cameoed in the last episode to stop an Ecto-Asteroid, but I don't remember. Lemme go check.
PERSONALITY: He’s a jerk.
I’m sorry, you want more? Well, his personality is about as straight as you can get: by that I mean he’s angry, spoiled, whiny, and very prideful. Simple matter of fact: it’s his way or the highway. Being around for 1600+ years in a kingdom that refuses to get out of such old habits, Aragon believes in methods that no longer or at least have questionable restraints in today’s society. His case on women is clear as a bell and he makes no shame physically/verbally/emotionally abusing anyone and I mean anyone who disobeys even the slightest of rules.
Fortunately he’s taken down a peg. No doubt years of slavery to his sister is seen in his future.

OPINION: Even as dragons, Aragon never really smacks Dora then what I simply implied in my paragraphs. Oh, it’s blatant, but for a children’s series, showing it as oppose to meaning it is a big "no-no". Understandable in their human forms, but as dragons—these powerhouse reptiles—all bets should clearly be off. The good thing about DP is that both men and women are equally smacked around in the series, enemies and allies alike. Dora never actually getting a whack from dear ol' brother would have sent a striking message. I suppose with such a tight subject matter as it is, they couldn’t go any further then they were allowed.
Also, am I the only one who thinks Aragon did something terrible to Dora’s mommy? She was mentioned in "Parental Bonding", but absent here. While it’s safe to say her story has been retconned, if I was to make a canonical guess, I wouldn’t put it far that he got her head chopped off. Maybe she nagged him too much. I mean, no woman should nag the great prince, now should they?
His dragon design is killer.
